We welcome learners who wish to improve their English language skills, whether they are focusing on daily communication, or advancing in professional and academic environments.
We follow our own method, which has enabled many students to develop a language instinct, recognise linguistic patterns, and most importantly, think in English. To achieve this, we examine both formal and informal language, analysing articles, songs, videos, short stories, and video games, as well as anything else you are interested in. A large part of what we do revolves around etymology – i.e., tracing the historical root of words, that helps us comprehend the logic behind the language.
We are inviting you to explore the fascinating world of the most widely-spoken language on the planet with us, away from dry repetition and sterile memorisation.

任何一位想要提升英语语言能力的同学，我们都敞开怀抱欢迎。无论是有关日常交流的训练，或是针对专业及学术环境下的语言应用，我们都能够提供帮助。
我们使用的原创教学方法，已经帮助了许多同学提升了语感，掌握了语言规律，最重要的是，学会了英语思维。以此为目的，我们会带领同学们研究各类正式及非正式用语，分析学术作品、歌词、视频、短篇故事、甚至各种游戏中的语言使用。总体来说，任何你感兴趣的话题，都可以用作学习的原材料。我们的教学方法在很大程度上以词义词源作为基础，简而言之，就是追溯单词含义的历史根源。而这，能够帮助我们揭示并理解英语语言背后深藏不露的逻辑。

在学习了不同专业，生活在不同国家，体验过各类风土人情之后，语言，对于我来说，从仅仅是一门课程，转化成了一样工具，并且最终升华成了一种生活方式。始自母语中文，到英语，乃至德语、希腊语，我对语言的探索从未停止。我也因此深刻地体会到，学习一门新的语言，就像打开了一道大门，这扇门通往一个草木葳蕤的花园，里面充满了奇瑰异宝，但也乱花迷人眼，重雾隐出路。而我的职责，便是当你的领路人。

After trying different majors, countries and cultures, language, for me, has transformed, from a mere subject into a tool, and eventually into a lifestyle. From my mother tongue - Mandarin, to English, and then German and Greek, my language exploration never stops. Hence I understand, that knowing a new language is like opening a gate to a flourishing garden, full of treasures inside, but also mysterious and labyrinthian. My mission is to be your guide.
Follow my lead, I'll watch your steps for you, so that you won't have to stare at the mud anymore, and instead, enjoy the view, and move forward.

A language teacher who has been a language learner his whole life. Language is not only my profession, but also my passion and hobby. Till now, I have mastered 7 languages, taught English in 4, and I am learning more. My current focus is Mandarin. Therefore, I can feel the struggles of Chinese learners when they try to decode a system as foreign to them as English. I appreciate those who opt to walk this path, and if you choose me as your mentor and companion, I will support you throughout the way, patiently and attentively.
